I received my BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical
Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. My MSc.
thesis was entitled "Echo Cancellation in Telephone Networks using
Adaptive Filters". Now I am continuing my PhD at McMaster University.
My research interests lie in the area of Signal Processing and
Communications. The more specific areas that I have contributed in
recently are Adaptive Signal Processing (Echo Cancellation algorithms),
Adaptive filtering using convex optimization techniques.
